Dry Fruits Bourbon Biscuits - Eggless and healthy

Ingredients:

For Biscuit:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1& 1/3 cup flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 cup Bird's Custard Powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup almond powder
  • 1/2 cup cashew powder
  • 1/8 cup milk
For Filling:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp. custard powder
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp milk approximately

Instructions:

For Biscuit:
  • Mix 1/2 cup butter + 1/2 cup granulated sugar and form a smooth batter
  • Sieve all dry ingredients (Maida + Custard Powder + Cocoa Powder) and mix
  • Add Crushed walnuts + Almond and Cashew powder (Tip: You can blend equal amounts of almond and cashew to form powder), form dough
  • Add 1/8 cup milk to form smooth dough while kneading
  • Divide into 4 equal parts and roll into a sheet. Cut in biscuit shape and keep on - the baking tray. (Tip: you can make holes with a toothpick, to give bourbon biscuits look)
  • Bake 350F for 12-14 min
  • Let it cool
For Bourbon Biscuit Cream Filling: 
  • Blend or Mix melted butter + Icing sugar + Custard Powder + Cocoa Powder + 1tsp milk.
  • Start applying the filling on the biscuit and cover with another biscuit.
