Chocolate Fudge

Incredibly easy and delicious chocolate fudge

Ingredients:

(makes 80 pieces)

  1. 3 cans of condensed milk (8 oz each)
  2. 3 sticks of butter (4 oz each stick)
  3. 1 – 1 ½ lb. sugar (can alter quantity according to preference)
  4. 150 gm cocoa powder
  5. 1 lb. roasted mixed nuts (coarsely chopped)
  6. 1 pinch of salt

Method:

  1. In a nonstick pan, melt butter
  2. Mix condensed milk and cocoa powder to it and stir on medium-low heat
  3. Add sugar and chopped nuts into the mixture (keep aside a small number of nuts for garnishing)
  4. Continue to stir slowly and when the mixture begins to get lumpy and starts to leave the sides of the pan turn off and let it cool.
  5. In a large tray, scatter some chopped nuts on the bottom and spread the chocolate fudge evenly, and then spread the remainder of the chopped nuts on top of the chocolate fudge.
  6. Set it aside to cool for about 15 min and then cut into 2-inch pieces before the fudge cools down completely.
