Homemade Veggie Pizza
For 1 Large Pizza
Ingredients:

1 cup wheat flour

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp baking powder
-
1/4 tsp baking soda
-
Few Italian herbs
-
2 tbsp yogurt
-
water to knead the dough
-
Veggies (1/3 squash,1/2 zucchini, 1/3 bell pepper, few baby tomatoes, olives)

Rennet Free Shredded Mozzarella cheese ( you can find it in Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods)

3 tbsp pizza sauce(See Pizza Sauce Recipe Below)

Making Pizza Sauce from scratch:

3 tomatoes (prefer plum tomatoes )

1/3 red capsicum
-
1/2 tsp oregano
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp pepper

Grill the slice of capsicum and tomatoes.
Peel the tomatoes
Now blend capsicum and tomatoes along with spices.
Now add 1 tbsp of tomato sauce (no onion no garlic - you can find it in an Indian grocery store)
Pizza sauce is ready

Instructions:

Mix all dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, Italian herbs)

Add yogurt and knead with water

Rest the dough for 10-15 minutes

Start rolling the dough and fold the edges

Prick the base with the fork

Bake for 3 minutes at 425F

Spread the sauce over the base and add veggies
-
Brush corner of the base with butter or oil
-
Spread mozzarella cheese and bake for 12-15 min at 425F
